Thank you for registering for the Evaluation as a Learning Tool for Oregon Arts & Culture Programs event! We’re thrilled to see the turnout so far – did you know that 60 people are registered?! If you find that you aren’t going to make it, please remember to cancel your registration so that others who may be on a wait list can join us.
We’re very grateful to both the Oregon Program Evaluators Network and the University of Oregon’s Arts and Administration Program for their sponsorship and presentation of this event. Here’s a bit more about what to expect, and a simple call to action for you prior to the event.
We would like this event to be more discussion than presentation. We hope that our three projects – Connecting Students to the World of Work (WOW), Creative Heights, and Studio to School – will serve as examples of what evaluation of arts & culture efforts can look like, but we also know that they are not the only great examples in Oregon. And we know that this is an amazing opportunity to support conversation between evaluators and those working in arts & culture organizations.
Therefore, we invite you to offer any burning questions or thoughts that you are pondering ahead of next Thursday. We’ve set up a virtual chalkboard for this purpose. Follow the link below and double click on the chalkboard to add a question or thought and we’ll work on including at least some of these in our conversation next week.
We can’t wait to see what everyone is thinking about, and we’ll see you there!
