March 5, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Location: United Way (619 SW 11th Ave #300, Portland, OR 97205), Conference Room 103

The March 18 deadline for proposal submissions is fast approaching for the AEA 2020 conference! This year, the conference is taking place in our very own city of Portland. Are you feeling excited about the potential opportunity to present in front of and network with evaluators from around the country and the globe? Do you have questions about how to finetune your proposal and choose the right Topic Interest Group (TIG)? Then come check out the AEA Proposal Info Session!

OPEN President, Kim Handloser, will guide us through a quick overview of the types of presentations that you can submit a proposal for and will speak to how to tailor your proposal to this year’s theme: “How will you shine your light?“. Then, Kim Leonard, Senior Research Officer at Oregon Community Foundation, will walk us through two examples of successful proposals. The remainder of the time will be open for Q + A and discussion about presentation topic ideas. Please contact Andrea Rogers at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Parking is difficult to find in this area so please plan accordingly. Public transit options (streetcar or MAX) are located close by.
