April 22 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
OPEN is happy to be hosting a half-day skill-building workshop. The format will include 3 skills-building lectures followed by a round of lightning talks and a local happy hour. Participants are encouraged to bring laptops, questions, and a desire to learn! No prior knowledge of any software is required, although some basic knowledge of each may enhance learning. One ticket covers all talks and tickets cannot be purchased for individual talks.
Lighting “How-to” Talks will be a series of brief 7-minute talks on any evaluation-related topic. Any event attendee is welcome to present. This is a great opportunity to practice public speaking, add a line to your CV, and teach your colleagues an interesting skill!! Please reach out to [email protected] if you’re interested in presenting. For example, great talks would be “How-to Design a Survey Item” or “How-to Build a Logic Model”.
Look to our newsletter or website for event updates and please reach out with any questions!
