Founded in 1997, the Oregon Program Evaluators Network (OPEN) is an organization for professionals who are involved with or interested in program evaluation.
OPEN allows for the exchange of ideas and information to promote and encourage high-quality evaluation practices.
OPEN members represent a wide variety of government agencies, non-profits, universities, and private consulting firms.
OPEN Mission
To provide a regional, interdisciplinary forum for professional development, networking, and exchange of practical, methodological, and theoretical knowledge in the field of evaluation.
OPEN Vision
To promote and encourage high-quality evaluation practices, OPEN:
Provides training opportunities to enhance the professional evaluation skills
Supports the exchange of resources, ideas and information
Coordinates networking and professional development opportunities
Educates the public about the importance of evaluation
OPEN is the area’s local affiliate of the American Evaluation Association (AEA).
